Oriented to quality in the Technical Unit of Innovative Products and Systems (DIT) of the IETcc-CSIC
Last November 2, the ISO 9001:2015 Surveillance Audit of the Quality Management System of the DIT Unit took place, which includes the following activities:
After completing the evaluation process of the same, the Conformance has been satisfactory verified. Our quality mark is a guarantee for all manufacturers with whom we have the opportunity to work and support them in their innovation processes.

IETcc-CSIC obtains the ENAC accreditation for the certification of road marking products, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065:2012 Standard.
The Innovative Products Assessment Unit of the Torroja Institute (CSIC) has received accreditation from the Spanish National Accreditation Body (ENAC) to carry out the certification of road marking products based on the European Assessment Document (EAD) 230011-00-0106. Torroja Institute (CSIC), as a member of EOTA, had already been acting as a Technical Assessment Body for the initial assessment of these products and the issuance of their European Technical Assessments (ETA). Likewise, IETcc is a Notified Body (1219) for the issuance of Certificates related to factory production control of construction products that, based on an ETA, allow manufacturers to issue their Declarations of Performance and make the voluntary CE marking of their products.
Since last 29th July, accreditation 205/C-PR416 recognizes that these tasks of continuous monitoring of factory production control of paints, thermoplastics and cold plastics for road markings are carried out in compliance, in addition, with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17065:2012 standard: Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services.
There are currently more than 50 road marking products certified by the IETcc, manufactured by around ten companies, both national and from other European countries such as Ireland, the Netherlands and France.
The Certificates of Constancy of Performances issued by IETcc-CSIC for these products will now have the ENAC seal that will make it easier for manufacturers to present their products with an extra guarantee, as well as easy and direct recognition of the Certificates in international markets.
Obtaining this accreditation confirms the commitment to quality and the constant search for excellence in the development of the projects of the Innovative Products Assessment Unit IETcc-CSIC.

The ietcc issuing the third document of experimental technical suitability (ditex)
The Innovative Products Technical Evaluation Unit, of the Eduardo Torroja Institute, has carried out the technical evaluation of a translucent façade cladding system with cellular polycarbonate plates in the Nou Moles sports center in Valencia, which has culminated in the issuance of the third DITEX Experimental Technical Suitability Document in favor of AISLUX LEVANTE SA.
The exterior enclosure system installed on the North, Northeast, East, Southeast and South facades of the Nou Moles sports center is mainly made up of a double sheet of translucent cellular polycarbonate plates: outside, in gray, yellow, orange, “Glass” and red 40 mm thick and inside, in “glass” finish, 25 mm thick, frames and sub-frames, as well as fixings and accessories for installation on the support element, configured by a non-bearing rhomboidal lattice.

The Innovative Products Technical Evaluation Unit, of the Eduardo Torroja Institute, has carried out the technical evaluation of an exterior cladding system for terrace bibs with larcore® A2 aluminum honeycomb panels in the residential complex Saler Homes, Valencia which has culminated in the issuance of the second Experimental Technical Suitability Document DIT 659EX / 21 in favor of their manufacturer, PROYME Ingeniería y Construcción SL.

EFFECTS OF BREXIT ON THE VALIDITY OF EUROPEAN TECHNICAL ASSESSMENTS (ETA) AND ON CERTIFICATES OF ASSESSMENT AND VERIFICATION OF CONSTANCY OF PERFORMANCE (AVCP) ISSUED BY BODIES FROM UNITED KINGDOM.
Until next 31st December 2020, products covered by assessments or certificates issued in the United Kingdom can still be marketed in the European Union without restrictions. This will however change as of 1st January 2021 (unless a new agreement with the United Kingdom will be concluded).
