From the Innovative Products and Systems Evaluation Unit, DIT of the Eduardo Torroja-CSIC Building Sciences Institute, we are pleased to inform you that the cladding works for the Ana María Matute library in Valdemoro (Madrid) have been approved. This project will be executed by the company Cubiertas y Pinturas Hergar SL.
The panels planned for their installation will be made of aluminum in a tray, less heavy than the previous ones, and with reinforcements on the edges and mechanical fixing using stainless steel screws. This system has the “ Documento de Idoneidad Técnica (DIT)” – Technical Suitability Documen7- issued by the Eduardo Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences.
The Documento de Idoneidad Técnica (DIC) guarantees the following aspects:
1. Mechanical resistance and stability
2. Fire Security
3. Hygiene, health and environment
4. Safety of use
5. Noise protection
6. Energy saving
7. Sustainable use of the natural resources

All of this will offer to the new library a guarantee of durability, sustainability and safety.
